Eric Nantel 15.1 13 **About the A4WD2 v1 Robot**
14 The Lynxmotion Aluminum A4WD2 Robot Kit is a robust, modifiable, and expandable chassis for your RC or autonomous robot experimentation. By utilizing popular RC truck tires and wheels the robot has excellent traction. Using our small NiMH battery packs and the Sabertooth 2x10 R/C motor controller means there is plenty of room inside for additional electronics (electronics sold separately).

Eric Nantel 15.1 16 Unlike the A4WD1, the A4WD2 uses the SES C-channels to form a rigid frame, to which a top lexan plate is mounted. There is also a top deck included with a cutout for a BR-KT pan base (or AL5 series robotic arm). The underside of the robot has space for a 6V 2800mAh NiMh battery to power servos, while the space between the chassis and deck house one or two 12V, 2800mAh NiMh batteries (sold separately), SES board (BotBoarduino, SSC-32, Bot Board etc) and Sabertooth 2x12R/C.

18 The robot is capable of carrying up to a 4lb payload. The most popular accessory for this robot is the AL5D robotic arm, as well as several sensor brackets and IR distance sensors.

21 The robot chassis is made from heavy-duty anodized aluminum structural brackets and ultra-tough laser-cut Lexan panels. It includes four 12.0vdc 30:1 gear head motors and our 4.75" tires and wheels.

23 **Controlling the Robot**
Eric Nantel 15.1 24 The robot does not include any electronics. The robot can be made to be remotely controlled via handheld controller, autonomous or a mix (using a Bot Board 2 or BotBoarduino and a PS2 V2 controller).
