SES - Brackets

The list below includes brackets and related parts used in the Lynxmotion Servo Erector Set V1 and/or V2. These parts are custom designed and manufactured for Lynxmotion. Note that at this time the system is not open source, so we cannot provide CAD files, though we will do our best to address any specific questions you might have.

  • Note: All micro and large brackets are specific to the SES V1; none can be used with the SES V2
  • The SES pattern allows compatibility between SES V1 and SES V2 brackets.
  • Aluminum chassis / body panels are not yet included in this list

Aluminum Dual Servo Bracket (single)

High quality black anodized aluminum servo bracket. Used where you need to double the servos on a single axis for increased strength. Works great for the shoulder of a robot arm. Fits standard size Hitec servos. Requires an ASB-09 or ASB-10 to connect to the servo horns.

Aluminum Multi-Purpose Rotate Servo

High quality aluminum servo bracket, available in black anodized finish. These brackets are similar to the ASB-04 except they have the SES hole pattern on the opposite side of the servo output shaft. This makes it possible to to make a rotation that is in line with the servo. Works great for making multi-axis joints for use in robot arms and legs. Fits Hitec standard size servos.

Aluminum Servo Offset Axis Bracket

High quality aluminum servo bracket, available in black anodized finish. Works great for making a wrist rotate for a robotic arm, or as a bicep rotation on a humanoid arm. Fits standard size servos.

Aluminum 15 Degree Ankle Bracket

High quality black anodized aluminum 15-degree ankle servo bracket. Used in the reverse knee biped legs for the ankle joint. Designed for use with ARF-02, but can work with ARF-01 as well. Sold in a 2-pack. Fits standard size servos.

Aluminum Inline Multi-Purpose Rotate Servo Bracket

High quality aluminum servo bracket, available in black anodized finish. These brackets are similar to the ASB-04 except they have the SES hole pattern on the opposite side of the servo output shaft. The "inline" means that the SES patterns on the bottom and side of the bracket are in line with the servo shaft. Works great for making multi-axis joints for use in robot arms and legs. Fits standard sized Hitec servos.

Aluminum Servo Side-Mount Bracket

This bracket is part of the Low Profile Axis. However, we're offering it separately to be used to mount a servo to anything with the Servo Erector Set hole pattern. Design to be used with the plastic low profile gear set.

Aluminum E-Z Servo Bracket

Here's an ingenuous way to horizontally mount standard Hitec servos that requires no screws. Made from high quality anodized aluminum "L" brackets and nylon snap rivets. It only requires you to drill some 11/64" (4.35mm) holes. Then it's a simple matter of pushing in the rivets. Literally mount servos in seconds.

Aluminum Low Profile Axis

Low Profile Axis (LPA-01) includes a brushed aluminum bracket, Acetal gears, and a Ball Bearing Hub (BBH-01). This makes a very strong pivot while only adding 0.486" to the length. It works great with all of our other brackets and hubs. Easily add waist rotate to a biped, a sixth DOF to a Biped leg, or wrist rotate to a robotic arm. This part makes many interesting and unusual mechanical assemblies possible.

Acetal gear set from our Low Profile Axis kit. Driving gear uses 24T spline while driven gear incorporates SES V1 pattern. Designed to be used with the aluminum servo side mount bracket.

Aluminum Interconnect / Servo Horn Bracket

High quality aluminum bracket, available in black anodized finish. These parts mate to the HUB-09 and the BBH-01. When used with these parts a light but very strong tubing pivot can be made. They can also be used to make a heavy duty servo horn adapter.

High quality black-anodized aluminum multi-purpose joining bracket. Works great for making larger assemblies. Connect any of the Servo Erector Set brackets, hubs, and accessories with their 2-56 hardware. Can be drilled for 3mm or 4-40 hardware. Made with .09" aluminum.

Aluminum Robot Foot Rev.1

These aluminum robot feet measure 2.50" x 4.75". They have a bend on the long dimension for added strength, and some holes to lighten the foot. They will work perfectly for a humanoid biped design. Available in black anodized or brushed finish.

ARF-01RB-Lyn-255 

Aluminum Robot Foot Rev.2

These aluminum robot feet measure 3.00" x 5.00". They have a bend on the long dimension for added strength, and some holes to lighten the foot. They were designed specifically for the reverse knee leg design, but will work perfectly for a humanoid biped design as well. Available in black anodized or brushed finish.

These hubs can be used with the ASB-19 and BBH-01 to make a lightweight but very strong tubing pivot. They will also be used for options not yet released.

Aluminum Clamping Hub for Carbon Fiber Tubing

Anodized aluminum clamping hub allows carbon fiber tubing to be connected to servo brackets. The pattern allows passing LSS cables.

Aluminum Servo Horn Tubing Adapter

These hubs allow any of our tubing sections (AT-01 thru AT-06) to be attached directly to a Hitec servos output shaft. There are lots of interesting uses for this unique hub.
