**About the A6WD2 v1 Robot**
The Lynxmotion Aluminum A6WD2 Robot Kit is a robust, modifiable, and expandable chassis for your RC or autonomous robot experimentation. By utilizing popular RC truck tires and wheels the robot has excellent traction. Using our small NiMH battery packs and the Sabertooth 2x10 R/C motor controller means there is plenty of room on top for additional electronics and payload (electronics sold separately).

The A6WD2 uses the SES C-channels to form a rigid frame, to which a top lexan plate is mounted. There are mounting holes for a BR-KT pan base (or AL5 series robotic arm). The underside of the robot has space for a 6V and a 12V 2800mAh NiMh battery to power the drive motors and servos. There are also mounting holes for an SES board (BotBoarduino, SSC-32, Bot Board etc) and Sabertooth 2x12R/C.

The robot is capable of carrying up to a 6lb payload. The most popular accessory for this robot is the AL5D robotic arm, as well as several sensor brackets and IR distance sensors. Note that additional electronic mounting hardaware (hex spacers and screws) are sold separately.

**The Mechanics**
The robot chassis is made from heavy-duty anodized aluminum structural brackets and ultra-tough laser-cut Lexan panels. It includes six 12.0vdc 30:1 gear head motors and our 4.75" tires and wheels.

Controlling the Robot
The robot does not include any electronics. The robot can be made to be remotely controlled via handheld controller, autonomous or a mix (using a Bot Board 2 or BotBoarduino and a PS2 V2 controller).

**Powering Options**
The robot is compatible with the following batteries and chargers.
Chargers & Accessories
> 6.0 - 12vdc Ni-CD & Ni-MH Universal Smart Charger (USC-02)
Batteries
> 12.0 Volt Ni-MH 2800mAh Battery Pack (BAT-01)
> 6.0 Volt Ni-MH 2800mAh Battery Pack (BAT-05)

**Important!**
To keep costs down we are not providing printed Assembly Guides. They are provided online, so you will need to print them when you order the kits. By providing the Assembly Guides online we can provide more detailed and up to date information than the old hardcopy method allowed.
